Who We Are

Empower Her 2Be was waiting on me. Every step on my journey was necessary to prepare me for this ministry. Being the founder of Empower Her2Be is an honor and I thank God for choosing me. One of my goals for the young women who are a part of this organization is to build confidence, self-esteem and awareness by shifting the typical paradigm of beauty and physical appearance and teaching them to love themselves as they are today. They need to know that what they have inside makes them beautiful, special and unique. The young women of Empower Her2Be will also come to realize that self-confidence is a super power and once you start to believe in yourself, magic starts happening. My goal is to rescue those gifts and talents that lie dormant by way of love, exposure, and opportunities that bring out the best in them and me. Every woman has been in a situation where it seems as though the odds are stacked against them. Therefore, Empower Her2Be has created a safe space where our young women can lean on other strong women for much-needed encouragement and support to help them get through the storms of life.
